This week-end we started working on the guest bedroom and getting it ready to paint.
Here is a before work started.
Any idea why we need to paint? This room, the bathroom and our bedroom (which is next on the list to be painted) have not been painted since we moved into our home in August 1998.
We are getting rid of the trundle bed and putting a Full size bed in this room. (Thank you Emily for this suggestion.) It will about be wall-to-wall bed, but I think it will be nice when our married kids visit.
Tom is working on fixing some of the cracks.
I caulked around the ceiling to prepare for painting the ceiling.
(FYI – this was before I caulked.)
Today I painted the ceiling.
I think it looks much better.
Makes me wonder why we wait so long to do something like this.
Now to paint the walls.
